I had purchased the Woodland Wildflowers Stencil on Amazon. It was perfect, but only a single stencil with closely spaced sections which made it very time consuming to use and impossible if you’re trying to do a large area. I scanned the stencil, sent it to Stencil Stop and after a few iterations, I had 3 stencils. Two were for the brown and green elements which where intertwined and covered most of the stencil. The third was for all the flower elements which were spaced much more openly and I could add multiple colors to them. Much faster to clean after each 24". I should have used a 2" roller instead of the traditional stencil brushes. It probably would have gone a lot more quickly. The results were extremely well received.
My first experience with using a stencil. I submitted artwork that Stencil Atop translated into a 9 part stencil for me. Everything lined up perfectly, changes were easily addressed in the proofing, and turn around was remarkably fast given it was over a holiday. I’m very pleased and will definitely be back again!
The final product was very good and stood up to a great deal of use. We used the stencil 35 times and were worried some of the smaller pieces would break and it held up extremely well. The design process was a bit tricky: it’s best if you give them a file with the exact image the way you want the final image to look. I expected them to do some design work and what I wanted was difficult to communicate without a good picture they could scan. They were happy to do a number of iterations based on my feedback until they got it right, and the end product was perfect.
